How Many Pounds Will It Take To Be #1 After Two Days?
binman replied to Jeremy Rasnick's topic in Table Rock Lake
I think 40p 2oz for the two day but sure will be interesting to see who if any one hits it on the head some one keep me informed on what it took to win -
Yeah I figured that the cold front would do them in for a few days going Sat and possibly Sun I will let everyone know how we do think we are also going to hit a crappie hole or two I talked to a few locals that said most of the better whites are being caught just aways up river from Aldrich most are being caught on white 1/8 oz rooster tails
-
I will take that as a NO!!! Well some one keep us up to speed on if they are bitin good I will go Fri or Sat and Sunday I will let every one know how it goes.

Just wondering if any one has been down the last 2 days and if the fishing has got any better?

As far as I know to my knowledge they said that they was not doing good at Iron bridge but I my self with the other tons of people was at the concrete bridge you can fish right there by the bridge or you can walk as far as your heart desire's to find fish. When you get to the Y you go right and you are practically on the concrete bridge if you go left you get to Iron bridge that is correct. Also if I may add not being able to fish for a few days is not so bad I am not sure if you have seen our weather forcast or not but the days that we are not going to get strong storms it's going to be in the 40's which won't be any help to us for fishing but next week looks kinda promising with warmer temps also if we get real good rains it might raise the water up high enough that them white bass and wally's get up to 215 bridge. Well good luck to you hope I helped some if you do get to go and do any good let me know how you did. Brandon Inman

Truthfully I have absolutely no idea but I can tell you if heading North on 123 you take a right on to 215 heading toward morrisville then make a left at the red barn/house you can't miss it then follow that road down it will Y off follow the road to the right takes you to Taylor Bridge(the concrete bridge) if you go left it will take you to the old Iron bridge. I hope that helps you out some let me know if you have any more ?'s Brandon Inman

Went back down to Taylor Bridge today and man it was slow I saw a few good stringers only 1 limit but seen alot of walleye being caught a fella wading caught a 7 lb walleye right under the bridge we came out with 6 keepers today all males but some real good size ones today. As far as bait went I caught all mine on chartreuse and pink but heard alot of people catching them on purple, smoke, electric blue and yellow.I will head back tuesday and see if they are closer to 215 bridge they seem to be moving up but still no sows and still early.

I went last year mid march and we did real well catching limits on 5 of 6 trips we took and had more walleye than I have ever caught any where but hey I might see you there
-
Well I guess I am going to head down this week and see if we got any walleye in the little sac and maybe a few stragler white bass I think it's still way to early but going to go any way to see if I can seek a few out I heard from a good friend of mine that there are some crappie at Taylor.

Wild hunter you would have had to be in line while we were then I had 6 people with me and I think we had a couple tag #'s in the 150's even there was alot of room this year fishing and just not so many people the guy's/gals that braved the cold should have done very well I know we did up until we all got cold and said let's go home
-
I caught a nice one about 3.5lbs. good fight but cold one out there I think I was tag number 160
-
Yeah they showed up at 8:30-9:00 SAT night then took off in the morning to go fish down by the dam so I never saw what they caught but man it was tough to fish the line was so cold and wet it was freezing up in the bail so you could not even cast. All eye's on my rod were frozen plus had some ice on the rod it's self but I managed a good stringer. One of my buddies caught into a nice brown we got pics but I can't get them on here for some reason next time I see you I will show you. Also where was you at I told dad to call you and see if you was going to head down?

Well we arrived saturday in the park at 9:30 am and got camp set up I just wanted to say for those of you who stayed in a tent should get a survival patch or something cause man it was cold!! We were fishing in zone 2 when the buzzer rang my hands were so cold I could not hardly cast but I did manage to catch 3 real nice trout with my biggest at 3.5 lbs and the smallest is probably 2lbs. We had 6 people in my group that braved the elements and we came back with 14 fish total so it was a cold but good morning well worth the trip.I did how ever notice on the way back to springfield this morning that there was a total of about 9 cars wrecked in the ditches and revines that small amount of ice we got last night sure made for some un safe road conditions. The whole way out of cassville up until we got to 39 we was doing about 25-30 mph at most but sure got chilly bones still.Saw 3 eagles watched them for most of Saturday.I also did notice that campsites went up 2.00 dollars and I personally thought that we should have had a discount to the snow but that's niether here nor there. I heard on the radio this morning that there was a deadly crash so my prayers are with there family and to all that made it and had a safe trip home God Bless. Brandon Inman

I was wondering if any one had heard how much tags are this year,if they are the same as last?
-
Here they are calling for a bit of snow to fall sat morning I guess we are heading up to brave the elements.Hope we don't all come home sick but if so it was all worth it

Also as far as fishing reports go the warm water outlet is a good place from the bank right now this time year when the water cools off them fish head to the warmer water try throwing a white crankbait or a shad rap etc. also anything that resembles a perch in color is usually real good you might get lucky on that perch color and pull in a nice flathead I have seen this happen numerous times there I am also talking about Springfield Lake to be more specific

emjay if you go left from the ramp the first bridge you get to I think if I am not mistaking it's an old rr bridge just tie up or anchor there FYI the best luck I have had with catching crappie there was at night in the middle of summer using crappie lights and shiners you probably wont catch many the most I have caught at one time is 8 but I gaurantee they are good size fish. There also is another little spot on down that I catch more at but you will have to pm me for that location it's a honey hole so to speak. LEB I am actually in the process of finding a small jon boat and putting a 4hp motor on it hopefully I will have it by late may so be patient but it might be possible for you and your wife to get together with me and my wife and go down to stockton in the boat and get on some good crappie and walleye by numbers. Also here before long I will be taking trips down to the river for the white bass run and not to mention the number and size of the walleye maybe like to get together and head down a couple times for a stringer load.
