  1. There are no bait shops on that side of the lake that I know of. If you come into Rogers you can go to Hook Line & Sinker on Hwy 12 and get anything you need. Best bait shop around!
  2. Any of you guys been out in the Hickory Creek area? Thinking about going crappie fishing/bass fishing Thursday or Friday. Just curious if anythings been going on around that area. Thanks!
  3. Thanks! I know John thru a tackle dealer friend of mine. I'll check into those hooks and a mold.
  4. Thanks guys! I'll check out getting a mold or just put up with it. I appreciate you guys helping out.
  5. I have used the owner jigheads, but the ones I have in 1/4 and 3/8 both have a 3/0 hook in them. Thats in the roundball. I've never used bullet type. I just searched owners website and all I could find is the same ones I have. Heres a link to what I found there. Where do you buy them with 1/0 hooks? http://www.ownerhooks.com/pages/products/h.../ultraheads.htm
  6. I have a few questions and not sure this is the right area for it, but I figured you guys from table rock might be able to help. Last year I started fishing a grub for the first time and had a great deal of success with it catching smallmouths. My problem is that I've had a hard time finding exactly the jigheads I want. Its hard to find any with a premium hook and when I do they all seem to have a long shank on them causing the tail of the grub to become snagged. Looks like using a shorter shanked hook would put the point further from the tail and eliminate this problem. I was using 1/4 and 3/8. Not sure but I think the hooks were about a 3/0. So, anyone know where I can find something better? Any suggestions? Also, do you guys use painted heads(red/chart./etc.) or just plain lead? Thanks!
  7. Anyone been over to swepco lately? I went to Beaver today and caught one black on a wiggle wart all afternoon. I need to find somewhere where I can catch a few and get a fix.
