First time down this year. Gotta get the boat restocked with equipment tonight when i get there. Batteries are charged and ready to rock out. I have never been down this early in the year. Normally we dont make the first trip until May. We'll see what i can muster up. I got a new lab pup for the Fiance on new years day. He's 4 months old now and 55lbs. He's gunna be a big boy. I am introducing him to water this weekend and hopefully he takes to it well. I am wondering what he will do when he see's my 4 year old lab jumping off of the diving board. Luckily the lake is down and i can get him down on shore and introduce him down there. Tight lines.

What area will you be at? Like other people have said it is a big lake and you normally dont have to travel far to find a good spot. I will be up there this weekend and mainly fishing on the 4th (sat).... normally i am a late spring / summer fisher on the lake but i am looking to find some early spring action. Chompers always produce for me along with deep diving crank baits. Good luck
