I live in between siloam springs and fort smith ar Got a ten yearold and a two year old and one in the oven Gods been really good to me I live with about 20 troubled teenage boys they come to this ranch I work on and live for 14 months so when I go fishing I m trying to get time alone or at least out of my life to get peace alot of times its just me and God and thats great but sometimes I need to be out with men since Ive got so many younger fishing buddies I like takeing them out but have resorted to only taking out 2-8 at a time its hard to fish with 20 guys talking I love river fishing esp. creeks its the solitude but go to some really small local lakes and have a flat bottom with a 48lb trolling motor its harder to find the fish in a lake than in a creek more area to fish and you need to know lakes in order to fish them unless your fishing with a buzz bait or can see fish the only way I have sucsess on lakes is in the morning with top water or minnows and a cork tubes and craws are easy to fish rivers with and fish will bite it allmost year round at any depth of water. next best river bait is a countdown silver minnow cant count the number of times ive caught 10-30 fish out of a hole and it was every thing from drum to perch to black bass and gar or turtles with the count down and last river bait is the buzz nothing beats a big smallie hitting that thing at about 6:45am I catch and release but every once in a blue moon throw a fillet of black bass on the grill if you all ways fried your bass try it some time with your favorite chicken or steak seasoning life is so great and fishing is awsome my first year in ministry I fished 200-220 days now its about 70 but my wifes gonna have our next kid at the end of may so im here for now but my favorite fishing is from sept to nov big fish time so ill get to hit that hope to talk to some of you guys soon max

I fish the barren fork over here on the ok ark border I feel the same way its so nice when its just you and the fish and God and the creek is so untouched I finaly got a kayak and got to go further than I had ever waded and found a waterfall too. no fish but spectacular nice to see some one else with the same disposition I dont get many big smallies here but caught some dandy spots and one very large bucket mouth. some times I just go for the hike and bring a pole so I dont regret missing a nice hole
