    I will be doing the exact same thing this spring. I will be taking my kayak and paddling what I can in search of some spots they are not in, easy access of the wade fisherman! Chance is right, trout fishing is about to heat up! I am ready for some cool weather!

    Of course, I am in Fort Smith, AR visiting family. Let me know what is going on. I have a feeling it is going to be wild down there today with all the gear fisherman!

    Who knows, I am going to fish it hard Tuesday and Wednesday and see what happens. It's supposed to be warmer so I am hoping that will get the fish moving.

    Only had a couple of hours this mid morning when flows were dropping but they were still around 1000-800cfs. I almost got skunked but managed to have a little guy 11" (striper) decide he would cut me some slack today. He was brought to hand on a black and pink clouser. (overcast rainy skies) If they keep the flows the same next week, I should be out there everyday.

    Well I was going to try and make it out today but alas work got in the way. If they keep the generation schedule, I will be fishing tomorrow though.

    Well they are still running water, so we will see what happens in a couple of hours.

    From what the schedule looks like they are going to run until 9 tonight and then off until 3pm tomorrow. I guess we shall wait and see.

    I hear you Chance, in Texas I had access to a ton of private lakes, but now that I am in Tulsa and I have nothing. How have you been? I have been super busy and traveling so I havent got to do much fishing lately. 2 weeks ago on my way back from a trip to Dallas, I decided to make a pit stop on the Lower Mountain Fork and do some fishing for a couple of hours, well as mother nature would have it, it rained the entire time I was there, but I did managed to hook a couple of them. Talked to a couple of other fly flingers and they were having a tough time as well.

    Looking for some ponds / small lakes that I can take the better half fishing. Any information is greatly appreciated!

    I am looking for a couple of spots to take the better half casting and fishing with the buggy whip! In the BA or Tulsa area and something that might have some decent / sleeper fish in it for me!

    Thats the weird thing about the buffs, sometimes they fight hard and sometimes it seems like they just flop over and act dead. I just dont understand it. Chance did you get your rod back?

    Wait a minute there are 2 Cole's? Awesome! Sucks about the rod, but TFO has a great warranty from what I hear. You guys going to give it another run tomorrow or are they running water? I will be getting back into town on Wed. so if they generation holds off, I will be there as well. As far as no stripers/hybrids, do you think the water is too dirty? I would have thought you guys would have nailed them today. Weird........
