  1. Smallies are a blast, I definately agree with that. It's pretty unbelievable how much of a fight a 2 pound smallmouth will give! So, is it pretty safe to say that points and coves along the lower parts of the lake will have largemouth and smallies? Would be fun to get both.
  2. Man, thanks a lot, great advice. My dad warned me about Stockton when it's windy, and said it's no place you want to be. I figure I can try to hide out in a cove if it gets rough.
  3. The reason why I ask about the lower part of the lake being Smallmouth, is because I'd like to know if the upper part (southern) is better for largemouth.
  4. Thanks for the tip. I've read online that from the State Park to the darn is smallmouth waters? Is that true?
  5. Hello, I am taking my wife camping for the first time to Stockton lake. I haven't been out there since I was a little kid. I'm going to be fishing for largemouth bass, but I'm unfamiliar with the lake. Where are the best spots for largemouth bass? I'm a worm man mainly. My campground is at Orleans Trail South, and I'll be in a boat with about 120 HP. About how long would it take to get to these spots. Thanks for the help, I can't wait to go.
