Hi all, am new here. We fished the Meramec just east of Eureka on 07/01, I-44 off of route 66 park.
Caught several blue gill. Got a couple of cat's. Was drop shotting night crawlers with the current along the slow spots. Have had good results fishing using craw-dads. Smallies & cats will go after them. Just drop-shot them into the current. Takes a while to catch enough crawdads though....
Would really like to get into the walleye. We live in Eureka, do not have a small boat. Any suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated.
