  1. Carpsucker, I'm finding some great info. on S. Potter's website and the more I browse this forum I'm finding about all i need to know. I appreciate the response. It's great to find a forum that encourages tourists and freely provides information that will make planning our trip much easier. No doubt we'll have a grand time. Looks like the weather has been wreaking havoc on the upper sections, it's been a while since i paddled around a bend to find myself head-on with a blow down. Thanks again and I'll report back with photos and stories first of June. Cheers
  2. definitely looking for trout. is water generally high enough to float from Baptist camp to cedar grove? smallmouth form pulltite downriver? thanks for the response !
  3. hello Missourians, I'm a seasoned bass fisherman that has fallin' in love with fly fishing. We've some great rivers in Tenn. (Tellico, Hiawasse) and we've decided to explore the Current for four days at the end of May. We'll be camping at Pulltite and shuttling our canoes for daily runs. My float plan is day1-Cedar Grove to Akers ferry, day 2, Akers to Pulltite, Day 3, Pulltite to Round Springs, Day 4, lower section of the Jack's Fork, evenings 2 and 3 at the Dry Bean Saloon for adult mischief. Does this sound reasonable ... any suggestions? I'm rather new to fly fishing, so I won't bore you with ridiculous questions about flies. I get excited with a well placed cast, if I catch a rainbow then I'm blessed. great forum ... very informative. Cheers, Tenn.Trout
