just a few pictures of the worst thing to come between me and some nice rainbows when will ever go away -
not a problem but something I will add to my other post is that I have been told that upper section of the river is still running brown so fishing would not be that good but if you just want to get out and injoy the fall colors then just keep your eye on the river levels before coming down

Rain,Rain,Rain and more Rain whats the deal haven't we had enough just can't win here the river is still up guys and was on it's way down but came up more last night due to the rains we had yesterday And they are calling for more rain thurs and friday so don't expect this river to be ok anytime soon anybody know of any other trout streams or creeks that are fishable right now there is a plus side to the high water if you just want to get out and fish for smallies the upper section would ok in a few days as long as we don't get a down pour well be sure and check the levels before heading anywhere looks like high water no matter wear you go

if anyone is camping it will mostly be at whitten the river is only used by a handfull of hunters during hunting seasons but seeing one or two is not out of the question If it was me I would be wearing a orange cap and vest for your safety some hunters will walk in from the upper roads and may not see you in there line of sights when shooting near the river if your not wearing orange

Great photo's got to love those fall colors Brian S. and I took off to the river in time to fish the afternoon from sunburst to patrick bridge didn't catch alot of fish but did catch my first brown out of the NFOW and measured in at 17 inches so it was worth the trip right there did land a few more between me and brian mostly small rainbows with brian doing what he is good at catching those scared rainbows out of some holes that call for alittle more then what I could throw at them And thanks to him I was atleast able to see some healthy rainbows that were getting some nice color to them all in all besides the drunk at patrick who grabbed the canoe and almost got tangled in our rods in was a great afternoon and will be back as soon as I can I hope to make it down before Oct. is up but if not I will be down in Nov.

Thanks guys I had a lot of fun fighting that fish there were times when I just chuckled I couldn't beleive what I had dreamed about For many years was finaly happing just to get to fight a trout that big in a river where there are just too few trout of this size was a honor then to hold it in my hands was a bonus makes you wonder how many times you have or I just been to slow or done something wrong when hooking a fish of great size and just snapping the line before the fight ever starts your always are left with that memory of there's something bigger out there just waiting to be caught makes me wonder whats next I still dream Of a two foot brown to bad it want be my home river when that one is caught last night this fight was replayed in my dreams the best dreams a angler could have may there be more !!! You know that feeling you get when you think your snagged then your line starts up stream in a strong current your mind ponders for a second you think what have I hooked you give a slight jerk of the rod to insure what ever it may be is hooked good. Then all In a seconds notice before you have time to respond you see a montser of a Trout airborn your heart is pumping cause you know this may be it you get ready for the fight Of a lifetime next thing you know before you have time to blink there goes your fly line your hand is burnt from the shear speed of the run but you don't give up now you know you have hooked something worth talking about the next thing you think is I hope I tied a good knot between my fly line and backing cause you see that fly line turn colors and in the backing you go. no to time worry about this now it's too late you have over hanging tree limbs and that are skimming the suface of the water not 20 feet from you your looking down stream looking at what is around you and around your fly line you see trees down in the waters edge that could break you off if he dives deep you give a slight pull and hope to keep this monster from wraping you up in the debree and you get ready for another run then it happens he runs straight under the over hanging tree limb you were worried about 20 feet from you at a last min. notice you shove your rod tip into the water in a attempt not to tangle your line in the limbs your free and the fight is still on you can't beleive all thats happend so far but the fight is not over yet no time to care about the slick moves you just did you just hope to get this fish landed soon before you break your 5x tippet you have tied on off he makes one more good run putting you back into your backing then just like that he stops you start bringing him in you feel your heart racing as you get to see him and you start reaching for your net as he comes in closer with one hand on the rod and the other behind your back on your net he tries to run again but is too tired to go far. finaly you get him in your net his tail sticks out 2 inches or better and your net doesn't measure past 24inches you can't believe it As you wrap your hands around this lunker you see the girth is so much you can't touch your fingures together you give a quick look to see if this is a old stocker or a wild trout you see huge fins with white tips and notice the big hook jaw on the bottom that looks unreal as you dig in your vest for the photo of a life time and try to balance your rod and the net,. Then splash your camera is wet and your biggest fish has darted into the depts of the river you let out a scream (Noooooooo) you know that this may not ever happen again in a long time in this river and you couldn't get the photo but who needs A PHOTO when it is replayed over and over again in your head you have caught your biggest trout ever and can't wait to share it with some one And Now I' sharing it with you This trout was caught In the Eleven Point River At around 6:15 pm on Sept.-23-2009 fish was beyond the 24inch mark On A fly pattern That I tie I call It Tito's Crawdad and you can look for this pattern in the future At Eleven point Canoe rental along with other tried and true patterns that I will be offering I hope you Injoyed My fishing report and hope to see you soon at Eleven point Canoe The Ghost Angler
