Okay guys, heres my fishing report for 7-28-10. Fished the Watts area, got there about 8:30 and fished until 11:30. Kinda slow where I fished however there were lots of fish in the area. I probably caught and hooked a dozen fish, lost some in close to me. I did best with a Griffiths Gnat as a indicator and a Pheasant tail below. I did catch a couple with zebra midges. I noticed some guys up river from me that were slaying them. I dropped by on my way out and asked what was working for them. They were using red midges under an indicator. I didn't have any red ones so wasn't a option for me, anyway that was about it. If you have any other questions just give me a hollar. Asap52

Can't give a report cause I didn't go. Had some things I needed to attend to so that killed that. I am thinking of going in the morning if something else doesn't happen. Anyone go today?? Corky

To change the subject just a bit. Did you fish north of T&M gravel or south and how far from the parking lot? Any deep holes in that area?? Corky

Well fellow fishermen, I have now officially finished my first fly fishing day. I arrived at the LIR alittle after 8 this morning and fished until 11. I caught 9 rainbows, lost 4 and missed at least 4 more. I caught 3 on a zebra midge, 3 on a electric prince, 1 each on a light cahill, hares ear, and a tan soft hackle. I have a lot to learn and want to gain more knowledge as I go. I want to thank everyone who had input and answered my questions on this forum. I see Rio has several different brands of tippit. Any suggestions on which one is best suited to the type of fishing in the LIR? Here are some I'm seeing, SuppleFlex, Fluoroflex Plus, POWERFLEX. How many leaders do you guys keep on hand? Thanks again. Corky

DaddyO Thank you for the info. I've already started buying some flies from Chances list. How much should I be spending on these flies. I'm green as can be on prices for these dinky flies....LOL. Where do you guys buy? I'm finding some online that fit the descriptions I've been given. We're getting there! LOL Corky

I have heard from Chance on what I should have fishing OK, MO, and AR. I was wondering what I should definately have while fishing the LIR.
