  1. Try White River Marine in Augusta, AR. They did have a couple of new L60's left over a while back.
  2. I sold it last Saturday.
  3. Has anyone tried one of the new Wave Spin reels by Doug Hannon? They advertise that they are birdnest proof. I bought one the other day, but haven't used it yet. The reel seems really smooth and I really hopes it works as good as they say it does.
  4. I've owned a couple of Champion river boats over the years. I owned the 6th boat produced for a while even. These boats are just fine for trout fishing. Most are just a little over 20 ft and usually 42 inches wide in the bottom. The only thing I have found wrong with them is the dry storage, which isn't really dry. The lids on most are recessed and plastic--the rubber gasket is supposed to make them waterproof, but the boats I had were not--they leaked. If you will tarp it down or garage it- the boat will be ok. I would buy another one if I had the chance--not bad boats at all. They quit making them in the mid 90's I think. Hope this helps--I would say buy it if you want a good trout boat.
  5. PJ's Finesse Baits at ejigs.com---many colors and many sizes. 3/32nd's work on most water leves, but you can size up or down from there. Sculpin Olive will catch trout, largemouth, smallmouth, and Kentucky's.
  6. I just counted 40 plus people on Gene's Resort Norfork River camara. The camara refreshes every 30 seconds and pans upriver and downriver. Could all these people be the main reason for the decline of trophy fish on the Norfork? It sure can't help I would think. Take a look for yourself on the camara--Gene's Resort then click on the live camara link. What do you think could help this river regain it's potential?
  7. You guys crack me up. No, the lot is not on the river, in the river, or ever will be in the river unless the dam breaks and then it won't matter anyway. The lot is not in a flood zone either, so you don't have to have flood insurance.
  8. Great building lot located in the BEST location on White River. This lot is just across the river from Gaston’s Resort and is approx. 1 acre. The lot is located in Cane Island Estates which features a private boat launch, all underground utilities, high speed internet access, completely self-contained state of the art sewer system (no tank or field lines required). It is also gated for safety. This area has some of the best trout fishing in the world and is only minutes away from Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes. The lot is #62 and you can view the plat map at Caneislandestates.com. This is an off river lot, but it is only a stones throw from the river. Email me at: shawneeboats09@gmail.com for more info. $31,000
  9. If you're looking of a new trout boat give me a call. We've got brand new Shawnee's built any way you want them. I will email you a price/option sheet and we can go from there. These boats are awsome and we've been in business for almost 40 years, so we will be here for you in the future. We've seen a lot of river boat builders come and go over the years, but we're still here and our quality speaks for itself. We build the best trout boat on the river. Email me at: Shawneeboats09@gmail.com and we can get you ready for what should be some of the best trout fishing we've seen in years. Shawneeboats09@gmail.com
  10. Deans Top and Canvas in Mtn. Home makes the custom covers just for that model--all you need to do is call them--they already have the template for that model I think. You can Google them and check out their website for more info.
  11. Have you looked at the Shawnee river boats. They run very shallow and you can set them up anyway you wish. You can get one in a 41 inch and 48 inch bottom. They are 20 ft long fiberglass and a 9.9 will work just fine with them. Email me at: Shawneeboats09@gmail.com if you're interested.
  12. I'm looking for a 9.9/15 hp Mercury/Mariner lower unit for a mid to late 90's model. Please email me if you have or know where one is for sale. This is for a friend, but you can email me at: Shawneeboats09@gmail.com (Short shaft)
  13. How about a new one--you can buy one for almost what a used one costs. Email me at: Shawneeboats09@gmail.com and I will send you a price list. Thanks
  14. Maybe this will take a little pressure off the Little Red in Arkansas. The White, Norfork, and Little Red get hammered by anglers. I know it's great for the tourist trade, but bad for the fish---lots of hooks in the water.
