The "green Castle" Between Points 5 And 6
fishofexcellence replied to KCRIVERRAT's topic in Beaver Lake
On the north shoreline between 5 and 6 in back of a big cove.. can see from lake by small island. south shorline has small water intack -
Seems like this fish are staying in praire creek pretty good this year. Got a few in Goose creek too and when they move out they are liking the deeper waters around the islands. Balls of bait everywhere. Stripers not wanting to go up past 12 bridge much this year and probally won't until we get some warm rains in the later part of March. Chestnut if you can aford it you need to invest in a minkota auto pilot, co pilot I've been using one now for over 10 years and really like them. I have the i-pod now but think the auto pilot is easier. With it on your wrist you can fight and net a fish all by yourself. We were also out last week near Beavertown on the tailwaters and found some male walleye off the bottom in 22 foot of water mixed in with kentucky bass, even got a 20 inch smallmouth. All on slicks and creek shiners.. Have heard reports of a few big females being caught all the way up to houseman. Good luck guys and remember to take a kid fishing. looks like we have a good year ahead., heard they are droping Beaver 20 feet, hopefully they won;t open the flood gates again this year. Really messed up the spring spawns last year. Heres a pic of one of the walleye and smallmouth, and a pic of our last outing on Beaver

140 Hp 4 Stroke, 120 Hp 2 Stroke
fishofexcellence replied to fishofexcellence's topic in Buy - Sell - Trade
If domt sell before spring I will be keeping one for a backup. Now is the time to buy at this low price -
I have a 2003-Johnson 140 hp 4 stroke with contros. set up on pallet to start in Rogers. My bottom dollor for this moter is $2500. I also have a 1998- Force 120 hp- 2 stroke long shaft with controls on my boat now at Holiday Island. Bottom dollor is $1200. Both moters are good. I pulled 4 stroke off my old boat when bought my Kenner it had the 120 force on it. I have enough faith in both moters that I will be keeping which ever one that does not sell on my boat. If the 140 sells it will just keep me from switching moters. I was going to keep both so i have a backup but Christmas money is needed. If the 4 stroke sells I also have a jackplate I wont need I will let go for $50, Robert Johnson 479-253-2258. email- fishofexcellence@yahoo.com

Be ready when fish go deep. I have 2 DT20 Electric Downrigers, with telescopic booms. Will let both go for $300 with 3 weights and 3 realeses. This would cost you almost $2000.00 to put together new. Would make great Christmas present for wife if she would let you put on boat. They are wired on to boat now to show both work. Will only take 30 minutes to take off. I am in Holiday Island but can meet on Beaver if fishing on Beaver. You can find me where the Stripers are. email me at fishofexcellence@yahoo.com or call 479-253-2258. I can post pic if needed

10 Eye Out Of Beaver Tail Waters
fishofexcellence replied to Stump bumper's topic in Table Rock Lake
Also putting crawlers on front bouncers. floating jig heads, or spin harness. Got our 2 bigest eyes in April 8-10#,jigging a 2oz chartruse striper bucktail. Got first just wanting to show son how you can see on graph, just graped something big, third pull up he hit. next trip out told guy & he jiged most the time when not reeling in a bouncer, only got one this way, but was the biggest fish of the day. -
10 Eye Out Of Beaver Tail Waters
fishofexcellence replied to Stump bumper's topic in Table Rock Lake
Was rough today, didn't get 1 eye, caught a nice LM,couple nice whites & gills. Got a 12#, 32 inch in March. Monday was a a 10# & 5#, with a couple whites & big gills. Were trolling walleye runners, what ever will get you down to at least 17- 22 ft now. not a lot of water here over 30ft. I can fish Mo side but cant take people, some guys doing good their up around Eagle Rock & Roaring River fishing deeper. Most fish here are between Holiday Island to Houseman. When were not trolling were running bottom bouncers with night crawlers & creek slicks. If somethings out the back on a float its a big 4-5 inch chup on a big jig or just hook. I put out a couple traps in a good creek to get the small ones, while I fish for about a hr with a small hook & slip float set about 12- 18 inches. Lately been so busy its been about my only time to fish on my own. Still fun catching on light tackle fight harder than bluegil. Speaking of which if you see us tied up we gave up & are trying to get dinner with gills or crappie. Whites are still around, but havnt seen on top for a couple of weeks. Keep a rod to throw a rooster tail when they do deside to come up. Jigging spoons are working in Mo. Should work here too if you mark them stacked up. A lot of fish Go to Mo in the heat, but the ones that stay seem to turn on when & after generating. If you fish these waters need to slow down for the kiacks, canoes,& flat bottoms, usally only 3-4 in a 5 mile stretch. Well hope I was of some help, good luck fishing, if water gets any hotter might do best fishing between the hrs of 9pm & 6am, seems to be working best on Beaver. -
