  1. Sorry to resurect this. Been a while since I posted. Been away fishing and doing the dad thing with a new baby girl! Not sleeping at all... I too am strictly a C&R fisherman. I do have concerns C&R is just another example of PC invading our culture. Used to be people kept all fish. Then someone decided to let them all go... I worry about what is next. I worry that we will someday lose the whole sport to wackos that think it is cruel. To some this sound crazy, but there are crazies out there! IMO taking a legal fish is fine. Now poachers are different all together!
  2. I would hate to see it in Branson. If you want to do that you can go to KC, St. Louis or a dozen other casino's around the state. I am not morally opposed to gambling, but to me it just doesn't make sense. I don't want a heated discussion, but IMO it is voluntary taxation. I feel I give the State of Missouri enough $$$. For that reason gambling could never interest me.
  3. Troutjig, Did not see you this weekend down at the spring so I asked some fellas fishing the bridge. They mentioned you got hitched! Congrats and Good luck. Normally a wife might put a cramp into your fishing time, but I think she is a better fisherman(person) than you are! Again Congrats!
  4. I could not agree more.
  5. They have a tips and tricks section thier website. Shawn is right on as well! http://www.troutjig.com/tips.asp
  6. I have been reading for sometime decided to join. Read some people talking about a rubber leg jig and them being available at DJs. I saw two people fishing with troutjig vests on, so I asked them about their jigs. They gave me two and showed me how to use them. I checked their web site for prices and ordered them online. Cheaper then baitshop in town. Check them out. www.troutjig.com If you see a younger guy or a girl, fishing, wearing a TroutJig.com vest at the springs talk to them. The guys name is Don and he will be more then happy to show you how they work. He might even give you one... Worked for me. BTW great forum! Charley
