I am in the same position. I'm going to a topwater Jet and primary target crappie in lakes but love the Arkansas rivers. I have a helix 10 for the back that I want on a removable mount. I do not want the transducer on the boat in the river. I have looked at fishfindermounts and they have a magnet and a pole that I am thinking about trying. I just don't want to take a chance on destroying a $400 transducer in the river.

the schedule says no generation till 1700 sunday afternoon. what are the odds crappy weather and no generation.

I'm really a trout fan, and haven't had time in a while to go fishing so I am trying to find some trout fishing a little closer.

I am looking for someone to show me around the white river, and where to fish. Is there anyone out there that can recommend a guide or know someone who knows the river? I am a fly fisherman stuck in the middle of Ok so I have to get out of here. I don't really care about trophys I just like catching fish. thanks chad

I am thinking about heading down sunday morning early if the schedule says they are off, anyone else headed that was from tulsa? never been there before. I have only flyfished in colorado so I hope all goes well.

ok so you have me interested. I am a colorado fly fisher but I think I'm gonna try the lower illinose this weekend. any advice on where to go and where to park, where to fish and what flies are they usually hitting on?
