As some of you already know Im an Okie coming to fish "The Rock" for the fist time. Out of the responses that were given I've come to the conclusion that nothing is biting period. My main objective at first was to go to Roaring River and be one of the lucky ones to land a 10 pounder. But I would really like to catch a nice smallmouth. As a child growing up I spent most of my summer going on float trips with my parents and family on the Elk river. I always spent my days there fishing for Smalls and have had a passion for it every since. So if someone could give me some pointers on where to find them on "THE ROCK" I would dearly appreciate it.
