Tough Today

Toke two guys with me today and fished from 8 till 2. only found one largemouth and one small trout. Tried everyting we could think of. Looked for crappie, walleye, whites; even had minnows with no takers on them. The current was down, no water over the dam and little coming through. Anyone else been, was wondering bout the night time bite???

Me and my father just got back from Powersite. Lots of people fishing, hardly anyone catching. My father caught 2 decent bows on a roostertail until a rock claimed the lure for itself. He had missed several more. I was determined to try to catch a walleye on a flyrod, needless to say I did not succeed but I did miss three strikes on a red and white PMS. Trout were midging pretty hard, no Griffith's gnats on me, so I tried to throw them a size 14 ant but too big for them I guess. We left about 7:00PM.

I'll second that guys. I was down there from 6-8:30 last night. I had 2 bites before dark, figured they were trout or crappie, since they were light bites. I think I seen you Zander fly fishing. I was fishing just below you on the Forsyth side with my wife. I didn't have a single bite after dark. The water wasn't coming over the dam, but it was a little higher than it has been the last couple times I've been, I thought that would help but it didn't. Maybe next time.

Well,we can all just cry on each others shoulders.Guys I was down there also,in a boat anchored behind the rock pile.I also think I seen you Zander,just below the big rocks on the Forsyth side?

I didn't even have a bite.My brother-in-law caught 1 trout.

We fished from there all the way to Swan in all my favorite spots,nothing!

Talked to a couple of guys at the ramp,they had caught 12 whites, but they came from down stream.

Ok, I remember seeing you guys. It was a pretty evening though if nothing else. After we got done fishing we went to the White River Outpost restaurant and ordered walleye. The walleye was good but the service, "steamed" vegetables, and rice pilaf were making me not want to bite either. I guess there was something in the stars.
