John Berry Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 I took three guys into the Narrows yesterday. It was partly cloudy, maybe sixty degrees and the river had been off for three days. The fishing was spectacular. My guys caught an unbelievable number of trout. They all lost count after a few minutes. The action was non-stop. The big fish was a twenty inch rainbow. We caught several eighteens and seventeens. The average fish was more like fourteen. While the hot fly was an olive woolly bugger, we also caught fish on worm brown San Juan worms, olive scuds, Y2Ks and zebra midges.
