Cape Fair Saturday

Went to Cape Fair Saturday to see if we could catch some crappie. We put in by the bridge and fished from 8:00 to 4:00. The water temp was almost 49 when we pulled out. We just fished jigs in 28-35 ft. We managed to get 12 keepers. There were alot of boats out. The weather was just beautiful. Can't wait to try it again.

Dennis, thanks for the report! Good to Hear they are starting like they should.. Any colors on those jigs? I'm planning on going out this week to the lower end of Long Creek in Arkansas, they should be getting ready also.. Be up the James here in a few weeks for Snagging season and Crappie.. Right now waiting for the snow!!! Thanks again..

We were using red/yellow/yellow, all chartreuse and all white.
