Daddy Carp Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Hey Trav, That's not flooding, the "big guy in the sky" (ya, I know you don't) just knows that with the chemo and stuff,I can't go fishing right now so he's bringing the fish up to my deck so I can still give it a go! Saw this mess this afternoon, half the parking lot/ramp is covered. Much higher and our Mayor is gonna get his shorts wet! Take care & have a good one. So far the chemo is going smooth so I'm hoping to get back on the lake real soon.

Daddy Carp Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Took a little site-see down to Beaver Creek Marina last Thurs. with daughter & her family. Looked like the water level was pretty high on Bull Shoals. The moring dock by the ramp was under water. Guess right now, there is no place for the water in Taney to go, so they just let it build with a slow release rate.

Daddy Carp Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 , , , I've attached 3 photos I took this afternoon at the boat ramp/fishing dock area at Rockaway Beach about 11am. The water had already started receeding. It had several on the waterfront really worried for a while. Thanks Amish, Ya got a battle to fight but will be back up to open Pomme house about the end of the month if things keep going as good as they have so far! Hope these attachments will download for you all!
