well as we all know the water is alittle up..LOL

friday night I hit the water about 9pm.

I went too outlet 2 and started with a 3 fly rig... midge (for weight) a sowbug and a roo.

I did pick up 1 fish one the roo bug (dark).. Took off the roo and put on a 2in SJworm (red) tied on a size 10, Picked up 2 fish.

so far its a hard night..LOL..

took off the worm and put on a jig egg... started getting some hits.. ended up catching 4 more with the egg.

Sunday (day)..

you wouldnt believe it...

THE WATER WAS IS STILL UP...LOL

I went to outlet 1..

ended up going to the lower side of 1 (down the high side of the bank)..

the Black strip leech... was the fly of choice...

caught probably 10-12 fish (all of them were fat!!)

I fish with a 4 foot leader to keep it out of the trees. I switched on and off a few flies.. but that was the only thing they really seemed interested in..

Fish from about 10:15am till just after 12:30pm

Sunday nights report..

Hit the "HIGH" water about 8:30 pm.

As soon as I got there before I even made my first cast... there was that dang beaver trying to swim up outlet 2...

well I tossed around a rapala for a few minutes...NOTHING..

Got the the fly rod out and rigged up the Midge and sowbug... a few good strikes a few short hook ups but nothing to hand.

decide to go check out outlet 1..

Nothing happening there..

well back to the van and Fly2Fish shows up and we grab the spinning rods again and head back to 1..

I tossed about 5 different rapala and still nothing.

back to outlet 2..

we got the fly rods out..

midge/sowbug and eggs..

It was tough night...

I did end up catching 5 on the egg....

I ended the night about 1:30am

Bummer there was not more action. So where are all the big fish? I suppose all the boats below Fall Creek put a heavy toll on any potential of fish making to trophy size?
