Brian K. Shaffer Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 This little fly really has been fishing great lately. Its a CDC Loopwing Emerger.. easy to tie and floats like a cork. Get it slimed.. dry it on your shirt.. get it water logged.. dry it on your shirt. Just don't use floatant! CDC is from the butt of the duck.. from the preen glands, and I like it! Here is a bigger picture and the recipe : CDC Emerger Happy tying - Brian Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
Wayne SW/MO Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Couple of questions Brian, do you tie it true to the recipe and how do you fish it? Do you fish it to a particular hatch, or to any rises? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
