On Tuesday at 4:15 p.m., the lake was at 1,146.6 feet above sea level. The lake likely will crest at about 1,148 feet.

I sure hate that for people living on the river but if their is a brite side to this their is no telling what kind of fish will be their when the water gets back to normal. anybody have a report on spoonbill ? has anybody ever cought walleye below the dam ? On a gigging trip in November just south of Nixa I saw one around 3 to 4 lbs dont have any idea why it was their and the fish is luckey I seen it and not some of the other less sportsman like people I seen hiding bass under boat seats. I would rather catch bass and eat suckers.Now I will quit rambling and go any info on the spoonbill will be greatly welcom
zander Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 I have talked with people who have caught walleye below the dam there. It is not a common thing but folks have caught them.
