Any web sites or locations out there that sell good affordable fly rod blanks? I'm thinking 3wt right now for a new rod. Price range, no more than $40. I'm not really into e-bay, but it might be the best way to go.

Thanks

Although its not local, I have been extremely happy with the 2wt I built on the Batson Rainshadow blank. They're dirt cheap but have pretty good performance.

Depending on what you want to do with it (and if you're willing to go a little bit above your current price) Dorber has some great light weight 10 foot blanks (1 - 4 wts) that should be great for high sticking, if you so wish.

Also try Schnieders rod shop in Mountain Home Ar-his Tiger Eye blanks are great. Hook And Hackle is also a good place (you get 20% off on internet orders) Both places have web sites.
