Had to go back to Chetopa so brought my white bass gear in hopes some were up in the rivers to be caught, but didnt look too promising. At Chetopa dam (Neosho River) it was still a bit high and muddy. Saw people snagging but looked quite low for spoonbill to be up. So as I was passing through Baxter Springs (Spring River) pulled off and saw a lot of folks that seemed to be white bass fishing tho it looked a bit high but not nearly as muddy. So i got out and watched a little while on both sides of the river and never did see any caught. My guess is a few were being caught and it got people like me white bass fever up! It was close to 5 when I got there so I did wet my line but didnt have as much time as I was wanting so we just drove back to Branson. Supposed to have my uncle keep me up with whats happening at Chetopa so hopefully I'll have a real fishing report with lots of white bass or some big spoonbill to report!

I drive from Joplin to Pittsburg everyday, crossing numerous rivers and creeks. Nothing out of it's banks yet, but high and muddy water everywhere. Has to be the same at Twin and #10.

I went to the park in miami last night. I got there around 8 and both sides were out of there banks. You had to drive through about 2ft of water on the west side and it was still coming up. I seen a few caught so i drove to the other side where they were really catching them. The park side was flooded as well. The water was still coming up. I seen plenty of full grown trees coming down the river all night. I had to wade through knee high water to get to where the bank was at. There was a strip about 8 feet wide than ran the length of the bank to fish from. There were plenty of people there as well. Wading through the water was well worth it though. It was some the best snaggin I've ever experienced. In the 5hrs i was there i landed 27 fish. ranging from 20Ib males to 68Ib female that i took home. By the time i left i was so tired it was hard to stay awake for the drive home. Also when i left the bank I snagged from was almost completley gone covered with water. So im not sure it will be snaggable today. But man was it ever a blast. THe fat ladies have arrived.
