Stockton Fishing Tough, April 5th

Well, let's just put it this way...I got back to the boat a very humbled man. We fished in the main lake area for around 5 hours or so today and sucked it up big time. That was probably the worst trip to Stockton I have ever had. There are normally very few days when it is that bad on Stockton, and I had me a hum-dinger of one today! We fished main lake points, secondary points, backs of creeks (eventually), and found two fish that didn't even make it all the way to the boat with us.

Think we might try it again tomorrow, and get some revenge (I'll admit, I am pretty hard headed). Might even get a wild hair and check out TR, who knows just yet.

Did anyone else go out this weekend, if so how did you do?

I was in a crappie tournament on Saturday and took 3rd with 3 crappie, 2nd had 4, and first had 9. I was fishing between mutton hollow and CC in the timber.
