Members Parker Posted April 6, 2008 Members Posted April 6, 2008 My wife & daughter and I just got back from probably the best fishing I have had in years on Taneycomo. Thanks Phil & Bill for the tip on the white jigs. Saturday morning we keep difting from the dam down past the ramp and each drift we would pick up 4 to 6 fish. We caught 10 fish over 2 pounds Saturday with 2 browns. I have attached some of the pictures.
rps Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Let's see. Family. Check. Good trip. Double check. Pictures. Check. Does it get better? All of us are glad for you.
twosets Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Were you retrieving those jigs or just drifting and bouncing off the bottom? Also, how heavy of a jig and what lb test ,line? Nice pictures, glad you had a good trip. George "This is not Nam. This is bowling. There are rules."
Members Parker Posted April 7, 2008 Author Members Posted April 7, 2008 We just drifted them off the bottom. I think they were 1/8 oz. but the bigger the better (All White). I also would add split shots about a foot up the line to get them down it seemed like 2 split shots was the ticket. We used 4 pd. low vis green trilene.
