Leonard Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Here is one of the few fish caught Friday night.. with the high water.. most everyone is still using spinning rod... stickbait are produce anything and everything!!! Jig.. in white olive and black... brown was doing good to.. Leeches.. GREAT.. If you got them out of the fast water.. there were doing good.. scuds, sowbugs, eggs and SJ worm.. No matter what anyone thinks... If you have the fever to fish Taneycomo is fishing AWESOME!! Friday night I was one the water... Stickbaits and PMS jig... Saturday and saturday night... Fishing was AWESOME.. after tyhe crowd got there it slowed down.. Leeches, stickbait and PMS jig (with a trailer unweighted PMS)... OH man every cast.. I was rolling it slow the only thing that really happened saturday night was a boat came up to outlet 1 and found some still water. Right where I was throwing my baits. After a couple of tangles.. I left and went down stream to find Fly2Fish and Joel.. well the boat so we all head back up.. and about 30 minutes the fishing picked up again. http://www.taneycomonights.com
zsmith62 Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 No matter what anyone thinks... If you have the fever to fish Taneycomo is fishing AWESOME!! I'll second that...Went down today (sunday) and ended up catching 19, with most of them being pretty decent size. The other guy I was with did about the same, I think he got 17 or something like that. Dark Brown Scuds and Hare's Ears were the ticket for me today. Zach Zach Smith
