I just got back from my weekly lunch hour run to Sam's club (in the St. Louis area) and saw they have a seasonal shipment of Chota Breathable Stocking Foot Waders (Sizes: M, L & XL) for a very reasonable price of $65.00.

This is a good price for a quality name brand breathable wader. I could not find a model number or name on the box. I did take a pair out and slipped them over my clothes, the fit was good. Unfortunately, I was unable to field test them even though there is plenty of water out in the parking lot. <_<

I checked Chota's website. Looks like they offer 4 styles from $129.00 to $329.00. The Abrams Creek were the cheapest, looked pretty good especially if they are 65 bucks.

FFM,

Where is the Sams Club at? I've been looking to give the breathable waders a try.

hfdhoosier,

I was at the Kirkwood, MO Sam's club located at I-44 and Big Bend (at least 10 in each size were on the shelf). You might want to call the Fairview Heights store to see if they have them in stock.

Bought two pairs for the wife and I tonight, will let you all know how they perform next time I get out (hopefully 2 weeks from now if there is any fishable waters that aren't flooded). There isn't any style listed on the waders, just Chota tag. They are made in China, hope I didn't get ripped off but for $64.88 I guess I can't go wrong. :D
