Report - 2/17 - 2/20

Fished the White over the weekend with a two friends.

Stayed at Sportsman's resort.

Friday we all caught good numbers, but nothing huge. 17" was the biggest.

Green/Olive and Ginger Leeches, Unreal eggs, trout crack all worked.

Mostly rainbows and a few cuts.

No generation at all.

Sat we woke up to 4 inches of snow and cold temps.

Flows were still low, but the fishing was good. much like friday, quite a few fish but nothing huge. All rainbows.

Leeches and unreal eggs were the best.

Sun was very cold. We could only manage a few hours at a time then back to the cabin to thaw out fingers and toes.

Two units on at most, and not for very long.

Stripping woolies (dark or even white) was the ticket.

Not fun when your line and reel are frozen.

Mon was a bit warmer and they had kicked on 3 units.

We only managed one fish in about 2 hours, so we packed it in.
