Pour Dennis Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 I fished the BFL on Saturday and could not catch a cold. The boater I drew (Mark Martin) caught four and ended up in 26th. Then I go out today out of H highway across from Baxter and fished from there back to Big Creek. Not a keeper, but did manage four shorts on the blade. I don't know what is going on. I had a great pre-fish last week before the BFL, and then on tourney day I zeroed. i am hanging up tournaments for a while. I am getting tired of throwing my money in a bucket for someone else to pick up and spend. Just gonna spend some time fun fishing for a while and try to figure this lake out a bit better.
Whack'emGood Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 Keep your head up Dennis. After that big front (Thurs-Fri), it seems like nobody is doing that well. I fun fished Saturday and, lets just say, it wasn't that fun. Maybe they'll recover from that front (and all of that fishing pressure!) and turn on again with the warm weather we're supposed to get all week. Check out the reports guys are posting from this weekend... Nobody has too much good news to report. Hang in there... Even a bad day is better than staying home! "Success builds confidence, and you have to learn to trust your instincts and forget about fishing the way a tournament is supposed to be won. I'm going to fish my style and make it work for me." -KEVIN VANDAM "Confidence is the best lure in your tackle box." -GERALD SWINDLE "A-Rig? Thanks, but no thanks. If I can't catch them on the conventional tackle that I already use, then I guess I just can't catch them." -LK (WHACK'EM)
