Fished flat creek and the james last week 17-20th found short males deep. Very slow overall, maybe a bite an hour when you didn't blow all over the place. Ended up fishing for bass and whites. Better than working but it is going to be a few weeks before I try again. Also the bites were very very light. I guess that is to be expected with the water issues. Not much traffic to speak of. I think we talked to 3 or 4 boats with a couple of guides trying to locate fish. I did see fish on the finder but couldn't get much of a pattern figured out other than on the short males. The few females we did find were full of eggs. Should still be some fish for future years if anything positive is to be said.
