Very nice, talk about sounding fair weather...(by the way I always use the dots has nothing to do with the topic............................................................) But no the Cardinals beat who I thought was the best team in all of baseball in the NLCS, I think the best team in baseball wins it almost every year, I'm not that kind of person, I give credit where it belongs....Did I think they played over their heads that year? Absolutely, but who cares they won it all, and to most people I guess thats all that matters....And Arrowhead, towards the end of the year, was not completely filled in the least....I could be wrong but I think they were having 15-20000 empty seats, I think I heard that last year but not certain on that...But almost everyone is sick of Peterson so I think he's close to being on his way out so I dunno why you think he's gonna be around much longer................................................................

Unfortunatley he is now leading this rebuilding with Herm the defense Edwards. Any boozo could have drafted Bowe. His drafting usually sucks a big one and like it was mentioned previously his free agency signings seem to be of players in their vintage years not necessarily early years. I haven't paid that much attention lately. Have we signed our 1st pick yet?

I dont think we have, it always takes forever to sign our first round pick(s) and I dont follow much football in the offseason because thats what it is the offseason and its baseball season...But Derrick Johnson has played really well and Tamba hasnt looked awful I have a feeling he's gonna have double digit sacks this year...But, like I said in my first post, I think Peterson will be out with Herm if the Chiefs dont improve this year, I think the Hunt's arent totally in love Carl...

Drew are you serious??? Rebuilding since 93???? Wow thats an intelligent sounding response... 93 I believe they made the AFC Champ game with who playing QB?....Had very possibly the best defense for the better half the 90's, what wins championships?? Oh yes....But who was the coach and when is the last time he won a playoff game??? Oh yes great playoff coach well said...Had talent in San Diego didnt he??? Marcus Allen was a Chief yes for pretty much the entire second half of his career not just the end of it.... I believe Okoye hasnt played for the Chiefs in the last 15 years so we can scratch him out of this discussion...Andre Rison played I think 2 maybe 3 years for the Chiefs had 1 incredible year for them and dont believe he had any problems his time there....Vanover what a return man for only a few years just like almost every other returner in the history of the NFL, short lived, and how long was he a Chief after he had all the problems??? Oh yeah Grbac was really at the end of his career wasnt he? Maybe 30 or so when he signed with Baltimore hmm....And it just has to be so bad to see your team win 10+ games year after year and squeak into the playoffs thats just horrible isnt it...I think Kansas City was in like the top 3 or 4 in wins in the 90's... Now to the nowaday Chiefs... Of course Brodie had to force passes what else can a QB do with that little time in the pocket??? So my comments saying Bowe showed signs of being something special make you laugh??? Did I say a word about how much money he was making? Dont think so...One thing you are somewhat right about there are a bunch of greedy punks on the team but gimme a team besides maybe the Pats that dont have that... I also enjoy how you say the Chiefs traded away OUR best player then yet say you cant stand the Chiefs then yet again you say you hope they do well every year.... Ok, if you consider bringing a player in who might have 3 years left not rebuilding, you are not only delusional, but have no idea what is going on. They brought Montana in to put asses in the seats, plain and simple. The Schot was a horrendous playoff coach, which is why he was fired at Cleveland, KC and now SD, no arguments from anyone who knows football. Grbac was a waste. He had no talent, but because he played for SF behind Young, he got the benefit of the doubt. He won a Super Bowl with Baltimore because of Ray "Killa" Lewis, not the offense. Marcus Allen, half his career? Did you fail math? He played for the Raiders from 1982-1992, and KC from 1993-1997. That is barely 1/3 of his career. Bowe is no different than any other money grubbing number 2 receiver wanting to be a number 1. He does not have the leadership of a Marvin Harrison or Jerry Rice. Sorry. I say OUR best player, because I live just outside of KC making the Chiefs, my local team. I wish them well every year, hoping this city can see a winner again. Hell, it has been 40 years.

Now, Glenn Dorsey, why not draft something we needed? A quarterback, a tight end (Tony G is old), offensive line, or secondary. No, they draft a defensive tackle. Great impact player, huh? They need to get rid of Peterson and get someone in there who knows football.

Now, as for the Cubs....wait till September. Go CARDS!
