vonreed Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Thanks for the report. It's nice to have someone else make a report. Me and my son went up Friday night and caught 6 real small whites and a LM was all. It was incredibly windy and pretty cold also. I wish the water would clear up some.
bclift65706 Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 I talked to one guy that was there the day before said the bite was good until the front moved through and the fish turnd of like flipping a switch. the water temp was 57deg witch seemed a little cool to me. last year I was catching crappie on the bank the third week in April on the Truman side of the dam and the lake level was about the sam as it is now. we just need some consistant weater and things would really take off I think.
creek wader Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 A coworker did real well on crappies on the main lake, right ahead of the front, Friday. wader
