Coming down Wednesday the 30th til May 10th. Hows the fishing been ? Friends tell me Norfork fishing is at its best when the water is high but I dont think they meant almost 30 feet over normal pool. It seems to me I'll be fishing a totally different lake than I have been the last 10 years. Well, it will be a learning experience for me and my crew. Thanks in advance for any info.

Fishing has been tough. The fish are scatted and most of the shore line is flooded trees,Look for coves that you can get into the shallow water on.Keep your eyes open for surface activity. The water temp has been 59 to 61.Fish spinnerbaits and Jerkbaits. Also try jigs on deep points. It should get better with the warmer days.Maybe a spawn in some warmer coves on the new moon May 5th.I have a white and blue Champion and on the motor it says JERKBAIT if you see me stop and say hi.

Thank you very much for the info, I really appreciate it. I'll be in a red Lund with a 25 hp merc the first 3 days, then for a week I'll be in a black Mr. Pike Lund with a 125 Johnson on it. Can't wait to get down there, its 40 degrees and rainy here.
