rcguy Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Could you do one of these floats in a kick boat? I have had one for 3 years and used it once!
Paola Cat Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Hey Jerry ... I would use the kick-boat in/around some of the accesses ... and that might even be questionable. Around the BSSP access it would probably work and I've seen guys at MDC Barclay in pontoons and kick-boats. The upper river floats would be at least 6 miles ... way too far for the kickboat .... and at times you'd be dealing with some pretty shallow water. I like to wade and then use a canoe just as transportation to get to the next fishing hole. Mike Cheers. PC
Buzz Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Thanks P C, You pretty much hit the nail on the head. I would like to spend one day floating and the next fishing in a park. That is all good info and I printed it off so I can put it all on a map. As far as Flat Creek goes,Chief and I are going to hit it sometime soon. He was telling me about it, but wouldn't have figured it to have any 19" smallies. That's what I love about our streams, they can always surprise you. I'll let you know what we decide to do for our trip. Buzz If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
