As they all said, the crappie are on the bank. We worried that the weather might knock them off, and I suppose it did at least early. We didn't get a bite until about 1:30 yesterday afternoon, but ended up with 10 keepers before 4:00. They seemed to be fairly consistent in 2' of water, rocky banks facing the sun. One kinda wierd thing (to me anyway) we didn't pull any out of the grassy areas, but if there was a break in the weeds, on bare rocks, they were there. All of our fish came from the Tebo arm in the coves across from the T-6 point. All were caught off of 2" white/char grub.

Beautiful weather here...water was in great shape. Saw surface temps as high as 68 late on the sunny banks.

Thanks for the report. I've been wondering when these crappie were gonna move.

Man you have to be kidding me. We went the wrong way. we started out of Long Shoal and went south. Caught 3 keepers (one 14 1/2 and 1 1/2lbs), one blue cat, and a bunch of blue gill. Maybe we will go to tebo the next time

Try the Grand arm East of bucksaw myself and a friend caught two limits yesterday on jigs. The water temp. has dropped 4 drgrees since last week and the crappie have moved off the banks somewhat but are still very catchable, they don't appear to have spawned yet.

I dont know wher buckshaw is can it be found on a map? thats bad not knowing where something is on a lake I have fished as long as I can remember. I base everything out of Osage Bluff an the Pomme arm of the lake. Were the fish in the coves.

Bucksaw is on the lake maps, it's about half way up the Grand arm between Truman State park and Clinton. And yes they were in the coves.
