Float And Fish 5-6-08

[wacky worm]

floating to mt shira

i started fishing with a countdown rapala

caught three right off the bat

jean ann started with the wacky and got into a little slough and caught two in a row

the second one i helped her get off the hook and it was a real nice smallie 1.5 to 2.0 pounder

the bite has started and it sure was fun to wet a line

i have noticed beds in the water more and more i think the spawn is a little late this year maybe all the flooding

after that i switched to the wacky and hooked a real nice one about the same size as jean ann

after low water red switched to a jitter bug and caught a real nice one also

get out and float real soon
