Me and my son went fishing yesterday evening for a few hours. The crappie were biting half way descent for the first couple hours and then all the sudden they just went wild. I ended up with a limit of 10+ inch crappie and 2 whites and my son had 7 crappie. For about 1/2 hour I had the most fun up there that I've had for a while. The only problem was all the people, of course.

Von what have you been catching your crappie on? I have been catching bunches of whites and Hybrids and a few crappie on 3 inch white sliders with a chartruse tail, (been cutting about a third of it off. )

I usually use a white slider with a pink jig until the sun goes down over the dam, then I switch to either a purple beetle, or the last time we used a blue body, white tail crappie tube, you know, the little tiny tubes. I tied 2 of those on and they worked great for a little while.
