I'm planning on being there friday around 4. I'll be up by the gauge house probably. I plan on calling Bennet Springs Inn and getting a room if available. If not I think I'll throw in my little tent and sleeping bag just in case.

I'll meet up with you all in the resturaunt parking lot at high noon SAT. if I don't see some of you before.

JJ, I 'll look for the gold Sebring with the keys locked in it... LOL

I need to tyr to meet up everyone sometime. The rain had the stream back up a little but doesn't look out of control.

Two responses..

1.) Lets all cross our fingers or get out our mojo sticks or whatever and hope the rains subside.. The river itself is still up, as is the spring (though not as signifgantly) and the rains continue to threaten... We have a chance for showers all week...

2.) Sounds like friday night it's the guage house area for anyone who can make it... Saturday morning everyone is planning on meeting up at high noon at the resteraunt... Saturday evening I will come back down to the river access and meet up with a few of you... Sunday morning will bring me back down to Zone Two and maybe the open river a little (unless someone else makes a better plan)

All this river stuff is put off though if the level gets much higher.. I kon't think it can get too high in the spring without a substantial flood though...

Hello Guys,

I am not sure if I'll be there Friday eve as originally planned. But, I will be there for sure on Saturday morning. I think I'll be able to grip my rod a little. Just for insurance I am bringing my 6' Fenwick glass rod and old click and pawl S-A reel made by Hardy which was owned by my father. I think the line is a bit old but I'll have Charlie Reading put on a new one if its bad. I may have to have it turned around so I can reel with my right hand and cast with my left. I don't have much pain in the hand its just weak. I'm really looking forward to this deal cause I haven't done much since I broke my hand and had surgery. I may be bringing a buddy along with me too. He isn't much of a fly fisherman yet so don't make too much fun of him. He just isn't comfortable enough with a flyrod to fish all day with one. I hope to help him get on fish and help him improve his casting. If I have troubles with my hand bothering me it helps to know I will have someone to help along in his fly fishing.

I'll offer help to anyone else too but, I'm sure you all are proficient already at the flyrod. I believe we will be camping at Thompsons RV park in a small tent which is near Ollie's restaraunt. Hopefully it doesn't rain on us too bad this weekend. I plan on bringing my fly tying stuff along too if anyone wants to do some tying.

Well I'll drop you all a line again when the weekend gets closer,

Rich
