Members Bosch Posted May 7, 2008 Members Posted May 7, 2008 Tim, coming down with the family on Thursday for the weekend and I am watching the storms rolling up from Arkansas into Cassville. How do you think the water is going to be effected? It looks like you all are supposed to get several inches of rain.
timsfly Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 So far only about 3/4 of an inch has fallen, but it does look like more a comming, so far the river is unchaged, still pretty clear and fishing well. If the rains come a bit at a time the river should remain pretty good, but if we get two inches in a hour or so, it will probably get nasty again for a few days. The area can handle moderate rainfall right now. I'll post tomorrow and let you know how the river looks. timsfly Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 River came up a foot or so, but is still clear and fishable. If it changes today I'll post pretty quick. Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
