Caught 12 bass in 62 degree water in Bull Creek. Water was a lot clearer up near the island. Most on a sticko slim, watermelon with purple flakes, with a small split shot for a head. largest fish was about 2 3/4.

Pretty decent outing Russell.

I was fishing the upstream point of the first flat when you went by me.

Did you see any gills back there in that clear water?

Trav, caught one really nice one while looking for crappie. Had a decent crappie also. The water by the island was clear, you could see the bottom in 6 feet of water. Noticed a lot of timber on the bottom. Don't know if it was there before.

Most the timber there was there before(flood gate status) but have moved a few feet. Especially those on the cuurent side of the island. There used to be alot of timber on the point of the island and it is sitting 30 feet lakeside in 16 feet of water. Look on your graph and you can find it.

I have caught several fish off the top of that using deep divers.

I have also found new timber at 16 feet right before the washout at the top of the point flat as you get out of deep water. no fish out of it yet but it is substantual. Might hold some good fish this summer.

Im looking for tiny 3 to 4 inch gills. I think as long as the spawn is heavy I will find alot of heavy gills. The only place I can find lil ones without alot of work tends to be on the spawning beds. Wich is where all the big females are.
