Members Jim-to-fish Posted May 20, 2008 Members Posted May 20, 2008 Came down Wed. Partner and I went out caught a few shorts and he ended up catching nice 17" fish. We were little ways from boat dock in Schnoor Creek and I decided to troll a orange crankbait back to dock. I caught a nice one and it ended up being a 17" trout nice and healthy. I kept him as I have a trout stamp and my wife is cooking it as I type. I asked lady at bait shop about it and she said some got out from Roaring River with flood. I have heard but can't confirm that up by dam you can catch trout down 100', but no one fishes for them in summer. Does anyone know if that is true. Fished tournament and didn't catch a fish Sat. until 9:30 when I decided to throw a Senko weightless the ended up with 4 keepers so 2nd place was better than nothing. Had a lot of fun throwing Senko.
