Just got back from Taney. Had a BLAST!! Throwing a #5 Gold Rapala. Caught around 10 fish in an hour and a half. Biggest one was around 18-20 inches, big fat rainbow. Gets a little spooky being the only person down there. Can't wait to get down there again.

You weren't alone Sunday night. I went down there with a friend of mine

from church down by the ledge aroun 8 to 11. We were using purple and

green mohair leeches and had a great time. I caught about 20 and he caught

about 15 and of course as always I missed about 30 strikes. There was no

moon out and plenty of stars. Other than your feet and hands going numb

it was great. With this good of fishing at night I was shocked that there

was only one other person down there.

My Father and I are planning a trip down that way in March and probably will plan a little nighttime fishing. I have tried it once, but that was at my beggining fly fishing stage so didn't have much luck. I am ready now, so the fish better lookout! I am really looking forward to going at night in March sometime though. By the way, what are your guys favorite flies to use at night?

i've had good luck with black woolys and darker colored fish imitations stripped quickly, of course the only time i ever seem to get on the water at night is during a full moon.

A guy from work brought them in about a month or two ago and I just now got around to putting them on my signature. Those have to be the funniest sayings I have heard in a long time.

Well I did see some cars come in about that time but you didn't park by the outlet 2 did you? I thought the cars just came down to see what was going on and then left

Congrats to you and your wife on the little one. My wife and I are expecting our first one Sept 4th! Very exciting time. My wife would be excited to hear you name Olivia, same name we have been thinking about as well! She is already 13 weeks into it and flying right by. Congrats again!
