We started @ twin bridges area about 11:00. Headed to greaser and fished bobber and jig, fished dropoffs @ 20' w/ jig and minnow. Threw a crankbait and did alot of graphing. Not much to look @ or catch for us.

Then went to Mutton and trolled the back half of the cove using crankbaits. Only picked up a white bass that we released. Also threw a bobber and jig in the brush as close as possible to the bank.

We looked at several brush piles on the main lake and in coves only to find them for the most part empty. If fish were present they were burried so deep they didn't stand out as clear archs on the graph. None scattered on the outward edges.

Moved to masters one hour before dark. Fished straight down in 30' of water @ 12', 15' and 20' w/ jig and minnows. We managed to pickup 2 crappie 12' deep. Each one hammered the bait. One measured 13". None had eggs. I'm still trying to learn how to idendify the sex of a fish. It may have been a post spawn fish, it did look like a female.

Anyone have any good secrets on just how to indentify a male from a female fish?
