Members bigfish Posted June 15, 2008 Members Posted June 15, 2008 we launched at 5:00 this morning did not start out well really slow and short crappie made short run got into some good crappie my bro had a good walleye get off at the boat we had a total of 14 between the two of us by 4:00 and a small white bass not as many fish as i would liked to have caught but still got to be thankful for what we did get the water had to rise significantly by 10:00 this morning as you did not have to get wet to get to the dock and by noon the water was back up in the parking lot found most of my fish not schooled and in 15-30 ft scattered every where give the water some time to go down and fishing will pick back up as for the ski boats plenty of that at old state park not to mention the 40 people who are swimming at the launch ramp must not know that there is a beach 1 mile down the road with a swim area it's a joke stay away from that mess.
Predator1 Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Man, was that muddy or what? I got to Aldrich Bridge to Hunt the Large Mouths again and seen how muddy it was so we changed our plans and went back up the Hwy to get some Chicken Livers. Caught one nice catfish right before dark and nothin after that.....sure was alot of big fish hittin the top of the water.....I left out about 1030pm tonight and just got home from dropping off my brother-n-law Seen some guys with trotline, hope they tore em up. Bet the limb lines would have been great tonight. That FULL MOON was putting off some light tonight. Good Night
