bobw
My buddy and I were thinking about a trip Labor Day week. I was looking for a camp ground that might have an electrical hook up. I could only find Twin Bridges and River of life. are there any others in the area a guy could camp and fly fish?
Brian Wise
Also check out Pettit's Canoe Rental and Sunburst Ranch both of them have electrical hook-ups. Brian My Youtube Channel
bobw
Thanks Brian. I talked to the River of Life people this morning. I think we arer going to stay there. It's a nice facility and kind of in the middle of all the fishing. They had plenty of space open for that time too. Looking forwasrd to the trip. Neither of us has fished the North Fork. Looks like a great river.

The one above back to the River of Life. And the one from River of Life down to the bridge. Thanks so much for the info. We are sure looking forward to the trip. Brian Wise
bobw, The upper float is about 7/8ths smallmouth water and 1/8 trout water. Personally if it wasn't for the trout there is no way you could keep me away from smallmouth but just though I would let you know about the upper float. Cool thing is on the upper float you can see where and why the trout fishing starts....Rainbow Spring Brian My Youtube Channel
bobw
We are not picky about what we catch. I started flyfishing a couple of years ago and have fly fished for trout 100% of that time. But it is easy to do when you live 30 minutes from Taneycomo. But this year has been impossible to wade at any of the tail water areas. And with out a boat the fly fishing has been limited to Crane Creek a couple of times, and Roaring River a couple times. So we will be thrilled to get to wade and fly fish for any thing. But I would like to expirence the trout fishing the Northfork has to offer. We will have 4 days there so we will have time to fish for what ever is best at that time. See you in a couple of months.
