Predator1 Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Yea, thats right. While I was trolling with my Stepdad this evening, I saw the rod tip on my pole get crazy while I was throwing a crankbait at some schooling bass. Before I could grab the Rod I was trolling with the darn fish jerked it out of the Rod Holder Thats the first time in all the years I've been fishing that that has happened. Well maybe some day someone will find a what was a nice $100.00 rig.....I even tried dragging the bottom with a rattletrap in 12' of water for an hour...to no avail did that work. So what else...I dove in and searched that area for another half an hour..Darn fish must of dragged it out to the middle of the lake. Surprising, I could see pretty good while I was searching the bottom. Didn't see no fish while I was down there either. They probably thought I was the Big One. Oh well.....lesson learned the hard way. Did however talk to some folks who were catching bass in the middle of the lake on white crappie jigs.
bigredbirdfan Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 That is hilarious. Sorry for the loss. Which lake?
