Members flyfisherman Posted June 29, 2008 Members Posted June 29, 2008 I was able to get out on the Eleven Point and get the dust off the fly rod. I did much better in the morning than afternoon. I caught my biggest fish a 20" at the shoal between the 1st and 2nd island. I hook about 12 and was able to bring 9 of them to hand. I ended the day at the deep hole before Turner with what I thought was the unthinkable fish, which end up to be wild 18 incher, a canoe passing by help me land it and I took a picture of it which I will post or give to Bryan to post. I also let mans 7 year old daughter take a pic with it. The key was a lot of weight, the water is still high, and usual hot spots Hurricane and Mary Decker are tough to fish with the speed of the water and depth. The river is considerably different, I like the changes some new holding areas have been created.
