Members Tom Holmes Posted July 1, 2008 Members Posted July 1, 2008 Hi All, I was wondering if anybody can point me to some shore fishing spots with the water being so high all the ones I know of are gone... I've been fishing off the rocks @ the CC bridge for 5 weeks was catching some crappie and cats now they seem to be slowing down... Thanks, Tom
Stockton Lake Guide Service Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Your on the right track. The rocks are probably your best bet. Try ruark bluff or if you don't mind making the trip the dam has been good fishing over the past couple of weeks. Everyplace else is covered with trees etc, and really tough to fish from the bank. Even most of the bluffs are far enough under that you can't fish them from land. If you make the trip to the dam, try fishing the east end. I was there last night and there were lots of fish there, but I was bass fishing. Didn't really try for crappie etc. Hope this helps and good luck!!
