TroutBum4wt Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I sure do miss wading Taneycomo and working the different spots. I hope the fall months will be a different story. "Where There Are Trout, There's Hope" - John Gierach
Greg Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Is there going to be any wade fishing this summer? I don't think anyone knows for sure. But with tablerock still being pretty far above normal levels - I'll bet it's not until fall that we see conditions favorable to wade fishing. And if it doesn't stop raining..............It may be longer than fall. Troutbum4wt I'm with you. I REALLY miss the wade fishing on Taney. Murdoc Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I'm hopeing that this weekend rains don't add to the pile of rain. It rained like crazy this morning here in Lawrence County. My waders are going to start looking for a new home. Miss you Taneycomo wading!! Feast or famine with rain!!! Smiles are free http://rdpflyrods.com/
Fly_Guy Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Along the thread of waders looking for a new home - I left my waders in the garage one winter and didn't use them - when I finally went to put them on, a family of mice had made a new home there. One mama and 5 pinkies. Needless to say that my right boot went through extensive cleaning before next use. So the moral is, don't go long without wading. Here's hoping for "hello - the following is a computer generated message. The number of units generating at the table rock power plant is... zero."
